Carinbisa obtains FSC chain of custody certification
Carinbisa, a manufacturer of wooden windows and exterior entrance doors, has just obtained the FSC chain of custody certification for the commercialization of wood products, specifically those used in the production of frames, doors, and windows.
For some time, Carinbisa has committed to using wood sourced from sustainably managed forests, primarily coniferous species from Central and Northern Europe. The company has also gradually reduced its use of tropical hardwoods, replacing them with more sustainable, locally sourced wood. After completing this internal transition, only an external audit remained to formally certify and guarantee that commitment to the market.
This new certification reflects the company’s ongoing focus on improving the quality of its processes. Carinbisa is currently a benchmark in the wooden window market, and this certification adds to others the company already holds, including the N mark from AENOR, the AITIM seal, the Passive House Institute certification for phB components, and RC2 security certification.
During the upcoming edition of VETECO 2018, Carinbisa will showcase finishes and solutions in wooden windows, wood-aluminum windows, and exterior entrance doors for the most demanding clients on the market, with maximum respect for the environment.
